Hunger Solutions NY
New Yorkers applying or recertifying for SNAP can still complete interviews and provide signatures by phone, thanks to a USDA waiver extended through October 31, 2024. This adjustment makes it easier to access food benefits without needing an in-person appointment.

WIC stands for Women, Infants, and Children. It’s a free nutrition program for children under the age 5, supported by parents and caregivers (including foster parents and grandparents), people who are pregnant, and people who are up to 6 months postpartum or 12 months, if breastfeeding
