DONATIONS
Do you accept donations of books/movies/cds etc.?
We do! The Library appreciates your donation of used books and/or movies. These items may be added to the collection, but more often they are put in our Used Book Sale. However, we have a few guidelines that need to be followed:
If you have 1 or more boxes full of items, please call first. Due to limited storage space, we cannot accept more than 1 box from November – April.
Please bring them inside the library when we are open, and notify a staff person that you are making a donation. DO NOT: drop them off when we are closed, leave them in front of the door, leave them in the parking lot, or put them in the drop box.
Only clean books/movies please! No items that are musty, moldy or dusty.
Regretfully, we cannot accept textbooks or encyclopedias.
Magazines can be dropped off in the front hall. We have a “free” table there for our patrons to drop off or take home magazines.
Thank you for supporting your library with your donation!

LIBRARY CARDS
How do I get a library card? What can I do with my library card?
Click here for information on how to get a library, loan periods, late fees, placing holds and accessing your account online.
While trying to use the online catalog with my library card, my card was blocked. Why?
There several reasons why your card is blocked:
Your card has come up for renewal. Library cards need to be renewed about every 2 years, and the computer will automatically attach a notice to your card of this. Simply give us a call or stop by the library and verify your information.
Your card has fines on it – returning items late incurs fees on your cards. Find out more under Library Card Information.
If you have any questions, please stop by the library or call us at 778-9344.
It’s asking for a PIN number. I don’t have a PIN, do I?
Yes you do! This security feature was added when we upgraded in 2009. Everyone was given the same PIN – CHANGEME – and you are required to change it to something you will remember!
– Go to the catalog, click on MY Account, and log in with your library card number and CHANGEME as the PIN. Click on “Change PIN” towards the bottom of the “Personal Information” page and follow the directions.
– Already changed your PIN but can’t remember what it is? You’ll have to call us at (716) 778-9344 during library hours (M-F: 10AM-6PM; Saturday 10AM-2PM).
MEMORIALS
How do I go about making a donation as a memorial?
Memorial donations can be made in the form of a monetary donation or a physical item, such as books, movies, or larger items. Please include the following:
The name of the person(s) that the memorial is for
